Yesterdays Pints N Flies was a little informal fly tying and beer drinking get together to help support our fly fishing buddy Shane’s son Devon’s educational fund. It was something we used to do in Santa Monica with all the local fly and conventional guys years ago. Yesterday’s was extra special and it took place at a really hip bar in downtown San Pedro called Godmothers. It was the classic setting; loud live music, world cup soccer on the big screen, beer flowing, salty San Pedro characters and the local fly guys tying flies and auctioning off great stuff to raise money for Shane’s kid, Devon. Special thanks to all the guys for coming out especially Paul, Tim and Randy who made long drives. There was a lot of love in that room!
