One of the things I studied at CSUN (Oceanography) was the sea-cut terraces on the Palos Verdes peninsula. Cool stuff…keeping in mind that global warming/cooling has been going on for millenia. For me, the oceanography class gave me insight about how to fish rips, and how the varying tides causes them…same with steep beaches in the winter/shallow in the summer. Anyway, I hope you get some takers.
