diy fly rod cork handle repair…

The easiest way to repair your cork handles is to do it yourself. Get an old wine cork and file it down over a piece of parchment paper, add a dollop of glue, and mix well. Use a toothpick or ice cream stick to fill and smooth over the area completely. Let it dry overnight, then with an emery stick or fine grades of sandpaper, carefully remove and shape. TAKE YOUR TIME WHEN YOU SAND DOWN. Always finish with the fine grade sandpaper for a smooth as silk finish. Then get out and go fishing! – Al Q
