Great question, no step x step! I tie a piece of rabbit strip 1/8 thick, I cut off most of the hair leaving some on the tip. then you can use a water-proof marker to color the opposite side of the skin. I attach the rabbit to a stiff piece of mono and add a few turns of chenille. Then I attach this mono/tail section to the bend of the hook and finish the fly with final wraps of chenille to the eye of the hook. You can add lead wraps under the chenille if you want your fly weighted or a tungsten bead, you can add a weed guard as well. Have fun…
